Unter der Schirmherrschaft des ehemaligen beninischen Pr\u00e4sidenten S.E. Thomas Boni Yayi veranstaltete das GABF am 23. M\u00e4rz 2017 in Berlin ihre erste private Veranstaltung, die ausschlie\u00dflich der St\u00e4rkung der Investitionsbeziehungen zwischen Deutschland und Afrika gewidmet war.<\/p>\n

Als panafrikanischer Vork\u00e4mpfer setzte sich S.E. Boni Yayi stark f\u00fcr die Entwicklung von Handel und politischen Beziehungen zwischen Afrika und Deutschland ein. S.E. Boni Yayi war von 2006 bis 2016 Pr\u00e4sident von Benin und davor Vorsitzender der Afrikanischen Union.<\/p>\n

As a pan-African champion, H.E. Boni Yayi strongly promoted the development of trade and political relations between Africa and Germany. H.E. Boni Yayi was Benin\u2019s president between 2006 and 2016 and previously served as Chairperson of the African Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
