Charles Huber

Charles M. Huber is a German politician who is one of the first two members of the Bundestag of African ancestry, alongside Karamba Diaby. He has been a member of the German Parliament since 2013 and has served on the Committees on Economic Cooperation and Development, on Foreign Affairs as well as on Economic Affairs and Energy. Therein he is his parliamentary group’s rapporteur on Africa, raw materials and globalization. In addition, Huber is the chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group for Relations with the English- and Portuguese-speaking States of West and Central Africa and is a member of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups for Relations with the East African Countries as well as with the States of Central America. Huber is also member of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
